In August 2016, Red Dot held an art exhibition to further the conversation of not only embracing, but also educating others on the period. The exhibition featured artists from a variety of disciplines who all came together to showcase work inspired by the period.
With the support and generosity of those who contributed to and attend this event, we managed to collect nearly 2500 products in one night. All donations were gifted to Providence House, a local NYC shelter with an amazing re-entry program for formerly incarcerate women, and the Junior League of New Orleans, a women's service group offering relief after this year's devastating flood.
The period is a reproductive function that cannot be refrained, and should not be shamed. Thanks for joining us at the Red Dot art show to revel in cause-driven, artistic expression.
